Billing Profiles
Overview
The Billing Profiles page provides customers with a centralized view of all billing profiles associated with their account.
This page is designed to help customers manage billing information used for invoicing and payment processing across service requests and projects. The Billing Profiles page serves as the primary reference point for managing billing information within the platform, helping ensure invoices are generated correctly and associated with the appropriate billing profile.
Purpose
The purpose of Billing Profiles is to store and manage billing information used for invoicing services. They ensure that invoices are accurately generated, properly addressed, and associated with the correct customer, location, service request, or project. By maintaining up-to-date billing profiles, customers can support accurate invoice processing, reduce billing errors, and streamline financial management across multiple services and locations.
Accessing Billing Profiles
You can access Billing Profiles either by hovering over the navigation bar on the left side of the screen, click Invoices, then tab over to Billing Profiles or press Ctrl + K and click View Billing in the menu that is displayed.
Creating Billing Profiles
To create a billing profile, access the Add Billing Profile form by navigating to Billing from the navigation menu or by pressing Ctrl + K and selecting Billing, then clicking the + icon in the top-right corner. The form can also be accessed while creating a service request by selecting + Add New Billing Profile from the billing profile dropdown. Enter a billing name, optionally provide a default PO number, select or create a billing contact, and enter the billing phone number and email address. Begin typing the billing address and select the correct option from the list to auto-populate the remaining address fields, then click Save to create the billing profile.
